Choose from these wood chips and wood chunks. Place the chips onto the grill, or make a foil pouch with a small hole in, which allows the smoke to escape. Wood chunks can be added directly to your fire and can be soaked in water beforehand. For best results buy a smoker box to put the chips in. These Jack Daniel's Whisky smoke chips are made from aged oak barrels. During the aging process, the whisky is drawn in and out of the wood giving it its distinctive color and flavor. A portion of whisky remains in the wood after the barrels are emptied and it from these barrels the smoke chips are made.
